New Business Checklist

Complete Zoning application to see if business is a permitted use for the location.

Bring Zoning approval to Clerk's office and obtain a Business License.

Complete Business Certificate of Continued Occupancy(BCCO) with Building Department.

If no renovations are being done, no drawings are required.

If renovations are being performed, drawings from a design professional and Construction Permits are required.
Renovations are, but not limited to:
Changes to egress plan
Walls or partitions built or removed
Electrical wiring
Plumbing
Heating or AC
Fire Protection
Security systems
Signs

Food Establishments shall contact the Monmouth County Board of Health for approval at 732-431-7456.
