Park Rules & Regulations
The Recreation Commission reserves the right to change any scheduled date for a special event. 1. No person shall cut, deface, injure, remove or disturb any building, fence, table, or other structure or apparatus, or pick, cut, or remove any shrubs, trees or flowers in any Matawan Borough Park. 2. Use of abusive or profane language is prohibited. 3. Disorderly persons are subject to arrest. 4. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES!! 5. Motorized vehicles are restricted to approved parking lots and roadways. Non-licensed operators and non-registered vehicles are prohibited from all park areas. 6. Soft beverages consumed on park grounds must be in cans. No glass containers are allowed on Borough premises. 7. Teams playing on Bororugh fields will be expected to conduct themselves in a proper manner at all times. 8. Any team or team member not obeying the rules will be just cause to revoke the permit for the remainder of the season. 9. No one is to impose on any other game or pratice while in progress. 10. Anyone using Borough facilities must have a permit with them. 11. The Borough of Matawan will not be responsible for any injuries. 12. Any team or organization using the facilities must police area upon completion of the event. 13. Violation of any rules set forth above will renege any future considerations of a permit in the future.
