Mechanical sweeping of Matawan streets is typically done on the first Wednesday of each month.  The town is divided into four street cleaning areas.   Area 1  is completed the first Wednesday of each month;  Area 2  the second Wednesday;  Area 3  the third Wednesday; and  Area 4  on the fourth Wednesday.  Street sweeping is not done on months that have a fifth Wednesday. The program resumes the first Wednesday of the following month.

Please refer to the Fall Leaf Pick Up Map contained in the Recycling Calendar to determine your area designation.

Please help us do a better job by not parking along the curb when your area is scheduled for street cleaning.
